Lost or delayed baggage #

For any issue with checked-in baggage, contact the airline. Delhi Airport does not provide any third-party courier facility for lost items.

Items lost in the terminal #

Lost articles at the terminal go to the lost property team and into an online database. To claim an item bring proof of travel (boarding card or passport stamp), a government photo ID and a description of the item; the service is free of charge. Items can be claimed from the terminal within seven days; after that the Lost Property Main Office is in Terminal 2, Departure Level, near Gate 1 (office 09:30-18:00 Monday to Saturday, closed on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). Cloakroom (left luggage) #

The Delhi Airport cloakroom is a 24/7 luggage storage facility for domestic and international passengers, from a few hours up to a maximum of 30 days. It is in the airport connect (DMRC) metro building at Terminal 3. Present a boarding pass and valid photo ID (international passengers may show a passport or boarding pass).

Cloakroom rates #

Small (under 7 kg): Rs. 150 for 0-2 hours, Rs. 50 for every subsequent hour up to 8 hours, Rs. 500 above 8 hours up to 24 hours. Medium (7.1-20 kg): Rs. 200, Rs. 80, Rs. 800. Large (above 20 kg): Rs. 230, Rs. 100, Rs. 1000.

How do I get between the airport and the city?

Delhi Metro #

Airport Express Line (Orange Line) runs between New Delhi Railway Station and Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector-25 and serves Terminal 3; about 25 minutes from New Delhi Railway Station. First train 4:45 AM, last train about 11:15-11:30 PM; ticket machines at Terminal 3 and Terminal 2 Arrivals. Terminal 2 is a short walk or shuttle ride from Terminal 3. Terminal 1 is served by the Magenta Line (Terminal 1-IGI Airport station, a 5-7 minute walk via a covered subway; 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM, every 5 minutes). Metro helpline 155370 (24x7).

Buses #

From Terminal 1 there are three types of bus service: city buses operated by Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) between T3, T2, T1 and ISBT Kashmere Gate, an airport shuttle for inter-terminal transfer, and a metro feeder bus that connects to Aerocity.

Taxi and app cabs #

24/7 cab options are available outside arrivals at all terminals. T1 and T2 (domestic only): pickup outside the arrivals zone; app-based cabs (Uber, Ola; Rapido at T1), prepaid and fixed-rate taxis, car rentals. T3 (international and domestic): Multi-Level Car Park, Level 0; app-based cabs (Uber, Ola), prepaid and fixed-rate taxis, car rentals and electric cabs (Evera EV).

Transfers and connections

How do connections work here?

Inter-terminal shuttle #

A complimentary inter-terminal shuttle runs every 10 minutes between Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Transfer passengers with valid tickets get a complimentary coupon from the shuttle counter staff; others pay the fare to the conductor. At Terminal 3 the shuttle counter is inside the bus waiting lounge at the Arrival forecourt, near Pillar No. 10. Terminal 3 is also a short walk from Terminal 2 on a dedicated pedestrian pathway, with a free buggy service for passengers with reduced mobility.

Which lounges are there?

Encalm lounges #

Encalm lounges: domestic departures near the food court at Terminals 1 and 2; at Terminal 3, in Arrivals (meeters and greeters area near Gate 4); international departures near the food court at Terminal 3. Walk-in rates for 2 hours: domestic lounge, adult INR 2,550, child 6-11 years INR 1,800, under 6 free; international lounge at T3, adult INR 4,150, child 6-11 years INR 2,900. Bank card privileges may give complimentary or low-cost access.

Medical centres #

24/7 medical assistance across all terminals by Medanta: Terminal 1, Medanta Health Centre at the Arrival Forecourt; Terminal 2, Medanta clinic in the check-in hall at the departure forecourt; Terminal 3, several Medanta centres (domestic pier, international pier, transfer area, food court, arrival forecourt). Parking #

Multi-Level Car Parking (MLCP) at Terminal 3 is open 24/7 with CCTV; Terminal 1 uses Park and Fly / Long Stay zones. Tariff effective 15 April 2025 for a private car: up to 30 minutes Rs. 160, 30 min-1 hour Rs. 250, 1-2 hours Rs. 320, 2-3 hours Rs. 400, 3-4 hours Rs. 500, 4-24 hours Rs. 600. Pre-booking is valid 24 hours from the check-in time and can be cancelled at least 12 hours before it. Parking support: T3 +91-8800493889, T1 +91-8800493897.

Baby care rooms (Terminal 2) #

At Terminal 2 Departures, baby care rooms are available after security: one near Boarding Gate 30 and one near Boarding Gate 23. The Terminal 3 multi-level car park also has baby care rooms, air-conditioned waiting lounges, F&B outlets and washrooms.

Where do I meet arriving passengers?

Meeting arriving passengers #

Meeting arriving passengers is possible at the Meet & Greet area in the Arrivals section, exclusively at Terminal 3. A visitor entry ticket costs Rs.150 per person, is valid for 3 hours from issue, requires a valid ID and is free for children under 3. The Visitors Entry Counter is near Pillar No. 10 in the Arrivals Forecourt, with the Meet & Greet entrance next to it.

Accessibility

What help is there for passengers with reduced mobility?

PRM assistance #

Airlines provide wheelchair assistance: request it when booking and tell your airline before travelling. Wheelchair drop-off lanes: Terminal 1, Lane 1 of the Departure Forecourt opposite Gate 6; Terminal 3, any lane opposite Gates 3 and 6 (Lane 1 for UDID/Divyang card holders). Dedicated entry lanes: all gates at T1, Gate 4 at T2, Gates 3 and 6 at T3. PRM-friendly washrooms with call buttons and buggy service at pier junctions are available, and the page lists a Sunflower programme.
